About Daniel Marriott

I am a Utahn. I grew up in the Holladay area, attending Olympus High School, and after graduating with Undergraduate School, located to the Millcreek Township.  Here, I met Marian Marriott and we have two beautiful boys, George and Grant.  Nothing compares to these three individuals in my life, they are my greatest joy and give me greatest purpose.  We are expecting a THIRD boy soon--cudos to Marian for diligently carrying all of them! Next to my wife and boys are my parents, David and Neill Marriott and my siblings.  I grew up watching Dad develop the family business.  I started as the lawn-boy and janitor.  After undergraduate school, I joined the company officially in sales.

Seven years ago, my father left on an extended sabbatical and I have led the company since. 

As far as hobbies, I like reading history, playing sports, racing in Triathlons, and eating great food.  Recently, I have participated in the Echo Reservoir,  Ogden Valley and Spudman Triathlons, and multiple biking and running races.  The versatility of the swim-bike-run combination keeps me enjoying three otherwise rigorous sports.  Biking to work is as much a cost-savings in gas as it is a great workout.
